ENGR. HASSAN ALLAM is a Non-Executive Director of Advanced Energy
Partners Limited.
Over 40 years’ experience in executive project management
positions. Has B.Sc. Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the
Cairo University, 1963. Actively participated from 1963 to 1977
in the upstream activities of Oil and Gas development in Egypt.
Worked with PETRO-BEL and AMOCO Egypt/ GUPCO as Petroleum
Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Manager and was responsible
for the Oil and Gas fields development in Belgium, Morgan, July,
Ramadan and Western Desert in Egypt.
Joined Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) in 1977 as Senior
Project Engineer and subsequently underwent promotions as project
Superintendent, Head of Projects, Deputy Projects Director, Gas
Project Division Manager, Project Management and Contraction
Division Manger and then as Project Advisor till year 2000. Led
the execution and management of Upper Zakum project, ADGAS 3rd LNG
Train Project and other major upstream and downstream activities
worth over USD$30 billion.
Participated as Chairman and Consultant for major infrastructure
and industrial projects as integrated Steel Aluminum and
Petrochemical in Egypt and Abu Dhabi till year 2018. Has presented
serval parts in local and International conferences in topics
related to effective project management, Reasons for Success and
Failure of Projects, Cost/Time, Risk management, Value
Engineering, Value Engineering, Variations and Claims control.
